Astrophytum asterias ‘Ooibo’ is a special cultivar of Astrophytum asterias. Here’s your care guide:

☀️ Light:

• Bright light, but gentle sun.

• Morning sun is perfect — avoid harsh afternoon sun (can burn its delicate skin).

• Indoors: south or east-facing window is best.

💧 Watering:

• Growing season (spring to early fall): Water only when completely dry.

• Dormant season (late fall to winter): Almost no watering — maybe once every 6 weeks if needed.

• Ooibo is even more sensitive to overwatering than normal asterias — careful!

🌡️ Temperature:

• Likes warmth — ideal around 20–32°C (68–90°F).

• Can survive down to about 5°C (41°F) if dry — but no frost exposure!
